Weidian, Taobao and 1688 are the three Chinese marketplaces most shopping agents buy from. They overlap, but each has its own kind of seller.
Weidian
A mobile-first marketplace owned by Tencent, where small independent sellers run their own shops. Many clothing and sneaker sellers prefer it because shops are easy to set up and run. Links look like weidian.com/item.html?itemID=…
Taobao
Alibaba's large consumer marketplace, with millions of shops of every size. Search and reviews are better than on Weidian, and many brands and big stores are there.
1688
Alibaba's wholesale marketplace, aimed at businesses. Prices are low but some listings need a minimum quantity, and items are less curated.
Which to use
It depends on where the item you want is sold. Shopping agents buy from all three, so you can mix them in one parcel. TheWeidianSpreadsheet lists Weidian items only.
