Weidian for Beginners: Your First Order
If you have never bought from Weidian, this is the whole process in one place, from finding an item to the parcel at your door.
What Weidian is
Weidian is a Chinese marketplace of small independent shops, popular for clothing, sneakers and accessories. Sellers there do not ship abroad, which is why international buyers use a shopping agent.
1. Pick an agent and sign up
An agent buys the item for you, stores it and ships it. Kakobuy and USFans are the most common for Weidian; both have new-account coupons. Every Weidian link in this spreadsheet opens in the agent you choose.
2. Find your item
Browse the spreadsheet by category or brand, or search it. Each item shows its price, every colour and size the seller offers and, where they exist, QC photos from other buyers.
3. Order through the agent
Open the item in your agent, choose the version and size, add it to the cart and pay. The agent orders from the Weidian seller, usually within a day.
4. Check your QC photos
When the item reaches the warehouse, the agent sends you photos of it. Check the size and the details; ask for an exchange if something is wrong.
5. Ship your parcel
Put your items into one parcel, pick a shipping line to your country and pay for the shipping by weight. Delivery usually takes one to three weeks depending on the line. Import duties depend on your country's rules.
First-order tips
Start with a few light items, like t-shirts or accessories, to learn the process cheaply. Read the seller's size chart instead of trusting size letters, and keep your first parcel simple.
